I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel! From the moment I walked through the doors, the customer service was exceptional. The front desk staff greeted me warmly, checked me in quickly, and made sure I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Throughout my visit, every staff member I encountered was friendly, professional, and genuinely eager to help. Housekeeping did an excellent job keeping the room spotless, and any request I made was handled promptly and with a smile. What really stood out was the attention to detail and the way the team made me feel valued as a guest. It’s clear that customer satisfaction is a top priority here. The overall atmosphere was welcoming, the amenities were great, and the service truly exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for not just a place to stay, but a place where you feel genuinely cared for. I will definitely be returning! Thank you Shamekia Wilson and you team.

The rooms are a little dated, but decent; the food isn't great (there's plenty of great restaurants around); and the elevator will stop on every single floor; the liquid body wash was delightful; the highlight of the trip was the bartender, Leonard! He is quite knowledgeable about the city and the drinks, and facilitated tons of great conversation throughout the guests. The valet guys were also very nice.

The Riverfront Hotel in New Orleans proved to be a fortunate last-minute find during an exceptionally busy weekend in the city. With multiple conferences and events taking place, nearly every hotel was booked to capacity, and the remaining rooms were priced accordingly. Despite the premium rate due to last-minute availability, the overall experience at the property was positive and exceeded expectations in several areas. The check-in process was seamless and impressively accommodating. Although arrival was earlier than the standard check-in time, the front desk team quickly found a room that was already prepared and allowed access at around 9:30 AM without an additional fee. This level of flexibility was especially appreciated after an early flight. As a welcome gesture, the hotel also provided vouchers for two complimentary drinks at the bar. The room itself was exceptionally spacious, larger than the average hotel room in New Orleans. It featured a comfortable king-size bed, a sofa, an armchair, a functional work desk, a refrigerator, and an in-room safe. The layout was practical and offered plenty of room to move around, which contributed significantly to overall comfort. The bathroom was equally generous, equipped with two vanities, a separate bathtub, and a shower. Everything was clean and well maintained. Complimentary bottled water and Keurig coffee pods were provided, a thoughtful touch that added to the convenience of the stay. Accessibility within the hotel was smooth thanks to two functioning elevators that kept wait times short even during peak hours. After a long and early morning flight from New York, the hotel bar proved to be a convenient and satisfying option. The onsite dining is casual with a simple menu featuring burgers, salads, and a few additional items. While not aiming for upscale cuisine, the food was reasonably priced and enjoyable. The burger and fish dishes ordered were well prepared and met expectations, offering a comfortable alternative to venturing out on a day when rest was the priority. The Riverfront Hotel boasts an excellent location for both business and leisure travelers. It is only a two-minute walk from the Convention Center, making it ideal for conference attendees. Additionally, the riverfront promenade is directly across the street, and a large shopping mall is within close proximity. The setting is convenient, walkable, and connected to many key attractions. Despite being a last-minute booking made during one of the busiest weekends in New Orleans, the Riverfront Hotel delivered a smooth, comfortable, and welcoming experience. The spacious rooms, helpful staff, convenient amenities, and excellent location make it a solid choice for travelers. While rates may vary significantly depending on city events, the hotel itself offers good value, cleanliness, and practical comfort.

I was incredibly pleased with The Riverfront Hotel. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The building and lobby were beautiful. But the main reason I’ll book here again is the staff. They were kind, helpful, patient and had a sense of humor. They all seemed to enjoy working there! This little boutique hotel is the perfect location if you need to get to the convention center, the cruise terminal or the casino. And it’s an easy walk to the French Quarter.

Spacious rooms but dated interior decorating and very poor lighting, limited electrical outlets, most don't work. Bathroom faucets and sinks gurgling and drip. We expected better views for a riverfront hotel, but were blocked by an outlet mall and an electrical substation. Elevators are decrepit. Staff overall friendly and helpful, but sometimes understaffed and perfunctory. Landscaping and entry could be spruced up considerably. Convenience area has been "under renovation" forever, and the Cajun market 2 blocks down is very sketchy (unless you want cheap wine and snacks). Only unsecured WiFi.

Keith checked us in and was extremely professional and knowledgeable about his work. He clearly explained how to use our key card to access the elevators and went over all the amenities that came with the room. He was truly refreshing to interact with, smiling the entire time and never appearing overwhelmed, even with the large crowd checking in for Bayou Classic Weekend! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will definitely return. The location was very convenient, you can park your car and walk to everything you need! Thank you, Keith, for your phenomenal service. It truly made a difference!

Went for a family event in the quarter and could not stay at our normal place but found this place on expedia for a really good price. The service was great from the valet to the bartender and the front desk. The decor of the place was elegant, and I felt like I was staying in $1000 a night room. We go to the NOLA several times a year and I think this will be our go to place moving forward. It is not in the heart of the quarter but close enough to walk, which is nice having small children and it being rather quiet.

Prior to check-in, I contacted the hotel to let them know I would be having a mobility scooter delivered and asked if it would be possible for my friends and me to be on the same floor and in nearby rooms. Not only did the hotel accommodate all of this, but they went above and beyond by proactively moving me into an accessible room. When the scooter arrived, it turned out to be too large for the room. Every single time I was done using it, the staff graciously stored it securely for me and then retrieved it each evening without hesitation. The kindness, patience, and professionalism shown by every staff member I encountered was truly exceptional. I stay in a lot of hotels, and I can honestly say this was the friendliest and most helpful staff I have ever experienced. I wish I had gotten everyone’s names so I could personally thank each person who helped me as I navigated a new disability during this stay. The room was great, the accommodations were excellent, and overall it was a wonderful experience. I cannot say enough positive things about this hotel and its staff. Thank you for making my stay not just comfortable, but genuinely supportive and welcoming.
